The Wilmington Rowing Center is open to rowers of any skill level. In fact, lessons are available for any adult interested in learning how to row a "shell," or boat. Classes are held between April and September at the center's headquarters, which are located in the Christina River estuary. Book a lesson today.

Would you believe that settlers were rowing the Christina River as far back as 1699? It's true. That's the earliest account of worshippers rowing to Old Swedes Church from as far away as New Jersey.
