The "Trees of the States" exhibit at the southern campus of Delaware Technical and Community College is the first of its kind in the nation, having been founded in 1976. Visitors who embark on this self-guided walking tour will find 51 mature trees, each of which is labeled with its popular name, scientific name and donor. As you roam this on-campus arboretum, keep a watchful eye out for the American holly. That's Delaware's official state tree.
