A popular activity at Delaware Seashore State Park is embarking on a naturalist-led eco-cruise aboard the SandDollar, a 45-foot pontoon boat that departs out of Indian River Marina on Thursdays during July and August. Visitors can choose from the morning Estuarine Ecology Tour or the afternoon Rehoboth Bay Sightseeing Tour, both of which run two hours in duration. Children may especially enjoy the ecology tour thanks to its hands-on water sampling, a crabbing demonstration, and a close-up look at bay creatures.
