This 700-acre sanctuary is part of the Delaware National Estuarine Research Reserve, and it's home to the St. Jones Center for Estuarine Studies. In addition to public programs, this nature center offers a boardwalk and trail that extends deep into a nearby marsh.

Next door is the Ted Harvey Conservation Area and John Dickinson Plantation, two local hot spots for recreation and history. Bring the whole family, along with a picnic lunch, as tables are located right on site.
